East Mountain Club?
I have been in contact with the owners of Founders Ranch, in Edgewood about possibly starting a club in the East Mountains. Founders Ranch is a large facility with 17 shooting bays. The range holds three large SASS matches every year including the thier world championship. Is there anyone that would like to be involved with starting of a club in the East Mountains? Here is a link to the website: http://www.foundersranch.com

I’d sure go shoot the matches, but are there enough people to start and maintain a club? What about props, movers and targets? How do the cowboys really feel about us shooting alongside them?
Again, I’d be interested and would support an East Mountain Club, but there are some nuts and bolts issues to work out.

That is what I am trying to find out. I personally only own 6 target stands and no steel. Right now I am just trying see if there would be anyone interested.

Good news, I talked with the people at the Founders Ranch, and they sound excited about having us shoot at thier facility, with the possibility of hosting large matches.

I’d definitely be interested in an East Mountain club. It’s probably the same driving distance for me and as long as it’s not held on the same dates as RGPSC I’d be there.
Ray, I’ve spoken with Damon about this and can add some financial support if it looks like it’s going to happen. Feel free to e-mail me at bartgolfs@yahoo.com.
